Helmet Policy 

The safety of our skaters is our top priority. The Prince Albert Skating Club follows the Skate Canada Helmet Policy to ensure all skaters are properly protected while on the ice.

Requirements:

• Pre-CanSkate & CanSkate (Stage 5 and below):
  A CSA-approved hockey helmet is mandatory for all skaters. A face cage is optional.
• PrePower & PowerSkaters:
  Full hockey equipment is required, including a CSA-approved hockey helmet.
• Stage 6 and higher:
  Helmet use is optional and left to the discretion of the skater and their parent/guardian.

Important Notes:

• Helmets must be CSA-approved hockey helmets — no bike, ski, or other helmets are permitted.
• Coaches are responsible for ensuring all skaters on the ice meet these safety requirements.
• Parents/guardians are expected to provide properly fitted helmets for their children.
